We inaugurated the first mobile classroom for the education of our workers

In Javer we always seek to grow, not only in presence but also in experience with socially oriented actions. Therefore, with the help of Construyendo y Creciendo, we inaugurated our first classroom for construction workers, gardeners, and community members. The main goal is to promote the importance of education and the values that will enable our people to make the right choices in the future.

Since 2006, Construyendo y Creciendo has provided equipment for the installation and development of mobile classrooms at construction sites. Their presence is not only locally, but also on a national scale.

This action is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. In this way we strengthened our steps for the journey towards sustainability by ensuring a balance between:

• Economic growth
• Respect for the environment
• Social well-being

Our classroom is within the Valle de Lincoln project, in the state of Nuevo León. In it, students have at their disposal guidance for the completion of their elementary and high school studies with official validity before the Mexican Secretariat of Public Education (Secretaría de Educación Pública, SEP for its Spanish acronym) in addition to a variety of thematic courses with curricular value. We are happy to share this event with our community, as this is a joint effort of three key elements: organization, future students, and JAVER. 

The opening event was attended by different members of the Construyendo y Creciendo team, the JAVER Social Responsibility team, managers, and future students of the classroom. We wish them every success so that they can finish their studies on a satisfying note!
