Respo Kids Day: The Most Anticipated Visit of the Year
03 September, 2024 by Javer
For the second time, the little ones filled our workplaces with smiles and fun. During this second edition of Respo Kids Day, participants learned about the activities we carry out at JAVER, at our Corporate offices in Nuevo León and at the Fioré Residencial development in the State of Mexico.
Twenty-five participants aged between 6 and 12 attended the activity. They spent the morning learning about different ways to cultivate a garden and implement irrigation systems through play. They also learned about the activities our community promoters carry out in various JAVER projects, such as Valle de Santa Elena, Valle Santa Isabel, and Valle de Lincoln, among others. They discovered that, at our company, beyond selling houses, we promote social cohesion in our communities. Thanks to our community centers and the activities held there, residents can learn different skills for their personal development. Finally, they visited the corporate offices, where they became superheroes with the Human Resources department, played a construction materials bingo with the Purchasing team, and learned about the elements of a home with Operations, among other fun activities with the Information Technologies, Marketing, Tax, Accounting, Legal, and Sustainability teams.
In another one of our developments, Fioré Residencial, 10 participants learned, first and foremost, how the Construction team receives the land and transforms it into the large residential complexes that characterize our company. They were able to touch and see firsthand the different materials such as rebar, hollow blocks, and bricks. Then, they let their creativity soar by painting the various tools and machines needed for construction. Afterward, the Sales team took them on a tour of the model apartment, where they engaged in fun activities. With the Customer Service team, they learned about the documents provided to customers through a fun treasure hunt game and visited a completed house. Finally, to emphasize the importance of the daily activities of the sustainability team, each participant planted cilantro seeds that they could take home, and we hope they will be able to harvest them soon.
With another successful year in this program, we thank the children who shared a vacation morning with our employees, and we hope they enjoyed it as much as we did.
At JAVER, we continue to work towards building strengthened communities both inside and outside our offices. Sustainable communities that grow and develop fully.
