Commemorating International Volunteer Day and Christmas, this year at JAVER, we carried out different volunteer activities for various beneficiary groups, accumulating an impact on 409 beneficiaries.

At Corporate, on one hand, we held our traditional party for children from one of our projects. Thus, the newly inaugurated David Alberto Cossío elementary school in Valle de Santa Isabel transformed into a fairground to welcome 202 of its students who participated in carnival games to win fun prizes. They enjoyed 20 skill and chance games, as well as the opportunity to have their faces painted as their favorite characters. They also took part in different activities, danced, and had a lot of fun with the show. Finally, each one received a gift and a bag of candy from one of our 12 volunteers and their companions, and, as a group, their photo with Santa Claus, his elf, and the Grinch.

On the other hand, in a new initiative, we held a second volunteer activity by reaching out to an organization with an impact outside of our projects. The Luis Elizondo Nursing Home opened its doors to our team and 6 volunteers to spend an afternoon with 37 of its beneficiaries. During this time, the residents enjoyed a delicious snack prepared by one of our volunteers. Meanwhile, we played bingo and offered blankets, warm socks, and sweets as prizes to each winner. Also, 4 of our volunteers put on a talent show that entertained and got the residents dancing. We ended the day by giving each resident a kit of earmuffs, scarf, and gloves.

In our Querétaro branch, our colleagues brought groceries and toys to 50 families and 50 children between 3 and 12 years old who are battling cancer in stages I, II, and terminal. The 39 volunteers were able to spend time with the beneficiaries.

In Jalisco, 6 volunteers went to the Sueños y Esperanzas A.C. Home and held a small party for the 45 girls and boys who reside there due to violent family situations. They enjoyed a magic show with animated characters and face painting. Additionally, they broke a piñata filled with candy and ate cupcakes, having a lot of fun with our team.

In the State of Mexico, 17 collaborators supported 75 girls with a small party with 2 piñatas and an inflatable game to have a nice afternoon, where they also had lunch together.

We appreciate the effort of each of our volunteers to carry out each of these events that we all enjoyed and that allowed us to bring the Christmas spirit to each of these causes.

We take this opportunity to wish everyone a successful 2024 full of positive social and environmental impact in our communities and those around us.

At JAVER, we will continue working to create these spaces of joy and sharing, as well as continue to promote each of our Social Responsibility programs aimed at generating value for each of our stakeholders.
