Volunteering Celebrating Friendship

During this February, we expanded our volunteering program and for the first time, organized one to celebrate Valentine's Day and Friendship Day.

After the rewarding Christmas experience at the Luis Elizondo nursing home, JAVER volunteers didn't want to wait long before returning. Thus, the intention to hold the lottery and talent show more frequently arose.

Throughout the afternoon of Friday, February 23, nine of our collaborators called out the lottery numbers and played with 32 nursing home residents, who won prizes by shouting "Lottery!" During the talent show, our colleagues sang to encourage the residents to dance to some songs.

Over the years, the volunteering program has grown to become one of the company's flagship programs. Aligned with our Sustainability model, we aim to generate a greater impact not only in the communities we create through our core business but also in the society where we operate. This way, we all support and create development opportunities together.

Thus, we shared a moment of friendship with the nursing home residents and started the year with our volunteer activities two months earlier than usual. In this way, we project that by the end of the year, we will have impacted a larger number of people with this program that we are so proud of.
