Christmas Volunteer Blog
28 December, 2021 by Javer
With the beginning of December, we decided to bring the Christmas spirit through Christmas parades to three of our projects, where we gave away 3,000 Santa Claus hats, more than 700 gifts, and more than 200 candy bags to children with the participation of 50 JAVER volunteers and the staff of some of our suppliers who paraded alongside Santa Claus riding his sleigh with some elves, Mickey Mouse, and the Grinch.
With the best Christmas spirit, we paraded through the projects of Valle de Santa Elena, Valle de Santa Isabel, and Valle de Lincoln in Nuevo León, in a weekend that was filled with magic for all participants. We are proud to have such active collaborators who share the pleasure of making a positive impact in our communities.
As this was the last volunteer activity of 2021, we are very grateful to each of the staff members who participated, particularly in this challenging year full of new experiences. The modalities of virtual and semi-face-to-face volunteering will continue, although our desire to be able to collaborate again in person motivates us. We hope that the will to make a positive impact around us does not stop here and we expect that next year all volunteers will join us in many more and new volunteering activities.
