Mass Reforestation to Celebrate Earth Day at Javer

Just as we take care of our homes, at JAVER we pay special attention to our home, planet Earth. Therefore, committed to its care and protection, we join in commemorating its International Day on April 22nd. But this year, motivated to accelerate the implementation of actions and generate greater positive impacts, the celebration took place in each state where we are present.

For the first time, we held the JAVER Reforestation event. We invited employees, family members, and suppliers to join our tree planting initiatives for two days, with a goal of planting 500 trees.

The activities began with an explanation of the correct way to plant a tree and the delivery of the necessary materials. We started on Friday, April 19th in Tamaulipas, where our volunteers provided homes for 40 trees within the green areas of our Pirámides project. Similarly, on that day in Aguascalientes, 60 trees were planted in Caranday II, and in the State of Mexico, 85 trees were planted in Jardines de Girasoles. The day yielded great results and set the stage for the next day, with teamwork and fun in great company.

The following day, the states of Jalisco, Nuevo León, Querétaro, and Quintana Roo achieved their objectives of 80, 85, 70, and 80 trees, respectively, in the projects Cima Serena, Pilares la Puerta, Marqués del Rio, and Paseo Kusamil. The teams were a testament to the great passion we at JAVER have for promoting spaces for comprehensive development within our communities. They even surpassed the goal by planting two additional trees, totaling 502 planted in these two days.

We acknowledge the tremendous effort made by our more than 540 volunteers and appreciate their presence and proactive attitude in carrying out the activity so successfully. Additionally, we value the support provided by ACEROMEX, Coflex, COMUNA, COMPRE, CUPRUM, Daltile, Duma, ECOPRO, GAMA MATERIALES, JJ Materiales Sustentables, MADO, Limsa, RUGO, Silletas, and VIPROTAM, national-level suppliers who accompanied us. We know that it is thanks to these strategic alliances and collaborative work that our companies are driven forward and promote the path to sustainability.

Undoubtedly, we celebrated Earth Day in the best possible way and managed to give back a little of what it offers us daily.
