With the aim of promoting sustainable development, innovation and social action that contribute to a better quality of life in our communities, we carried out the “Premio Javer Sustentable 2022” contest.

As every year, the competition to turn a university project into reality took place in the “Premio Javer Sustentable 2022” award. For a month, the students from universities in Monterrey, developed a project that answered the need to transform the “Muriel Residencial” clubhouse into a sustainable building. The proposal had to integrate eco-technologies and non-structural adaptations, limited to a $200,000.00 Mexican pesos budget.

On this occasion, we received around 10 projects from students of the “Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León”, the “Universidad de Monterrey” and the “Teconólogico de Monterrey”, from which, on December the 7th, at “Pabellon M”, the final four teams presented their proposals to directors of JAVER.

After a long deliberation, the team “Sustenergy” was crowned the winner, with their eco-technologies and green walls proposal. The team integrated by José Gabriel Hidalgo, Lucía Mariel Cortes, and Catalina María Cantú, students from “TEC de Monterrey”, will have the opportunity to bring their project to reality alongside JAVER’s social responsibility team during 2023 and the project could be replicated nationwide in JAVER’s clubhouses.

Once again, “Premio Javer Sustentable” promotes innovation across university students, who at the same time surprise us with their ideas. We are sure that the project will be successful and that the following editions of the award will be interesting.

“Muriel Residencial”, sustainable project

“Muriel Residencial”, the first JAVER development to have the “EDGE” sustainable housing certificate, is located in Escobedo, Nuevo León.

It features houses of 3 bedrooms with an excellent distribution and luxury finishes, an air-conditioned clubhouse, a pool with children’s pool, palapa-roofed barbecue grills, a synthetic turf pitch, green areas, and a controlled access gate.

The integration in our “Muriel Residencial” development brings great benefits to our clients. The materials used in the construction of homes and the integrated eco-technology for energy and water savings provide savings of at least 30% in water and electricity consumption.

At Javer we are committed to having a better planet. Like us, you too can open the door to sustainability for your new Javer home. Get to know the places designed for you and your family.
