My Best Social Responsibility Practice

At JAVER, we care about building strategic alliances with all our stakeholders. That is why we carried out the "My Best Social Responsibility Practice" contest open to our suppliers, which seeks to promote this kind of alliances and carry out joint activities.
This year, Grupo CUPRUM won the contest with its GREENDOW program, which promotes the separation of recyclable waste, as well as the reuse of water from industrial processes and air conditioners that are free of pollutants for cleaning and irrigation purposes. It also promotes the implementation of sustainable energy technologies, and programs for energy saving, detection and improvements to avoid energy losses. In addition, Grupo CUPRUM carries out volunteer activities that include planting trees in local ecosystems or vulnerable areas.
To date, they have managed to recycle the equivalent in paper to print of 8,229,378 100-page books and reuse water to fill 34 Olympic-size swimming pools. They have also managed to avoid CO2 emissions equivalent to those released by 361,341 typical passenger vehicles and for the lighting of 1,650 homes.
We congratulate Grupo CUPRUM for its good practices and participation!
Soon you will receive news of the actions we will take to contribute to their program and together help the environment and communities.
