Sustainable housing is now a reality at Javer

We introduce sustainable housing with the EDGE certification of 294 homes at Muriel Residencial, our project in Escobedo, Nuevo León.
At JAVER we are committed to sustainability, which is why we implemented the EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certification in the Muriel Residencial project. This certification evaluates the energy, water and energy savings incorporated in the materials used in the construction of new or existing buildings, and it is available in more than 170 countries, including Mexico.
EDGE
The certification system was created by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. Its objective is to reduce the number of resources used through the integration of efficient materials and eco-technology that allows the construction of high-quality homes with sustainable construction certification.
The certification is used to evaluate all types of buildings and it is used in housing, hospitals, offices, hotels, shops, education, warehouses, and light industry. It has three levels that are determined by the savings achieved in each category:
- EDGE Certified: at least 20% efficiency in the areas of energy efficiency, water and energy saving incorporated in the materials.
- EDGE Advanced: at least 40% energy efficiency and 20% in other areas.
- EDGE Zero Carbon: 100% energy efficiency and 20% in other areas.
Thanks to this, the certification of our Muriel Residencial project brings great benefits to our customers. The materials used for the construction of their homes and the integrated eco-technology for energy and water savings provide savings of at least 30% in water and electricity consumption. This not only benefits the planet, but also the pockets of families.
At JAVER we pave the way for a more sustainable future for our planet and our communities, offering our clients housing solutions that coexist in harmony with the environment and generate substantial savings in terms of their economy.
