At Javer, every drop counts. Sustainable water management.

In line with our commitment to sustainability and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda —particularly SDG 6, focused on ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water, and SDG 17, which promotes partnerships for sustainable development— we continuously work to strengthen our responsible practices regarding the efficient use of water resources.
With this objective, we carried out a technical visit to the testing laboratory of one of our strategic suppliers of faucets and showerheads, in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the innovative technologies that help raise quality and sustainability standards in our housing projects. This supplier, with a solid track record in the sector, stands out for offering bathroom and kitchen solutions that comply with international certifications such as EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies), an international certification designed to promote sustainable construction in emerging markets, helping developers build more efficiently in terms of energy, water, and materials. All of this reinforces our commitment to building more sustainable and efficient environments.
Recognizing how important and vital this resource is, we aim for water efficiency in our EDGE-certified housing, where we have achieved savings of more than 20% in water consumption. For example, by using aerators in our faucets, we significantly reduce consumption from 6 liters per minute, which is the average use of a regular faucet, to 1.8 liters per minute with aerators.
During this visit, a group of 10 employees had the opportunity to gain deeper insights into the importance of incorporating these products into our housing projects. Special emphasis was placed on the correct installation and operation of devices such as flow restrictors and aerators, analyzing their effectiveness compared to equipment that does not feature these technologies. This strategic collaboration has been key in advancing toward more sustainable housing.
Additionally, during this month of August, we launched an internal awareness campaign focused on the protection and responsible use of water resources. Through informational materials such as flyers, videos, and challenges, we invited our employees to actively contribute to the fulfillment of Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation. This initiative seeks to promote small daily actions that, collectively, generate a positive impact on water conservation. With this effort, we reaffirm that sustainability begins from within, fostering an organizational culture committed to change.
