Clean air has always been a very important topic when we talk about sustainability and undoubtedly one of the most recurrent when discussing the problems caused by human activities on the planet. It is not only a human right, but a necessity for the proper course of our daily activities as a society.

Currently, 1 in 5 deaths are assumed to be caused by the presence of hazardous chemicals and air pollution. Faced with the urgent need to care for air quality, September 7 was declared as the International Day of Clean Air for blue skies. Who among us does not like to look out the window and see the sky completely blue?

The international community is aware that improving air quality will mitigate the consequences of Climate Change and in turn, measures against Climate Change will improve air quality. For this reason, we invite you to join the efforts to take care of our environment and in this specific month, the air.

The theme for this year’s International Day of Clean Air for blue skies was "Healthy air, healthy planet", which not only refers to pollution but also to the importance of taking care of ourselves in the current health crisis. Clean air is vital for our health as well as for the betterment of our lives. Keep taking care of yourself and the environment.
